Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled her first official single of 2025. She co-wrote “Manchild” in collaboration with her frequent partner Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff, who also produced the track. The song includes sharp lyrics such as “Did you just say you’re finished? Didn’t know we started/It’s all so familiar, baby, what do you call it/Stupid, or is it slow?” Check out Carpenter’s astonishing desert journey in the music video for “Manchild,” directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, below.
In February, Carpenter launched a deluxe edition of her 2024 album, Short n’ Sweet. Additionally, she took home two awards at the Grammy Awards that month—Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet and Best Pop Solo Performance for the album’s lead single, “Espresso”—where she performed a medley featuring “Espresso” and the Antonoff-produced “Please Please Please.”
Carpenter is scheduled to perform at Primavera Sound Barcelona on June 6. The pop star will also headline at Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza, after which she’ll embark on another tour across North America, supported by Ravyn Lenae, Amber Mark, and Olivia Dean.
