We wish to inform you that we are undertaking vigorous legal action, in collaboration with our legal team (law firm), against malicious slander, the distribution of false information, defamatory posts, personal attacks, and harmful comments directed at our artist Seohyun circulating in numerous online communities and social media.
Specifically, the following actions are classified as clear criminal offenses:
– Disseminating false information (Criminal Act Article 307 – Defamation)
– Posting derogatory remarks (Criminal Act Article 311 – Insult)
– Engaging in sexually harassing behavior and comments (Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes Article 13 – Sexual Harassment via Communication Media)
– Repeated slander and threatening communications (Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes)
