Actor So Ji Sub expressed great joy in his married life.
On June 6, a video titled “Big Brothers Who Make You Bow Automatically | We’re Here to Promote ‘Mercy For None’” was published on Netflix Korea’s official YouTube channel. The video showcased ‘Mercy for None‘ cast members So Ji Sub and Jo Han Chul, who engaged in an animated discussion with hosts Jonathan and Yoo Byung Jae.
During the conversation, So Ji Sub reflected on his past as a rapper, stating, “Recently, Taecyeon, who is part of the same agency, released a song. So Taecyeon, Cha Hak Yeon, and I performed in Japan under the name ‘So-Ok-Cha’ (So Ji Sub, Ok Taecyeon, Cha Hak Yeon).”

When Yoo Byung Jae inquired, “I’ve always been curious when and how you developed your love for rap,” So Ji Sub shared his heartfelt sentiments for his fans.
He elaborated, “I started rapping simply because I enjoyed it. However, I’m actually tone-deaf. I began creating songs because I wanted to sing for my fans when I met them. Although I’m not skilled at it, the desire to perform for them inspired me to write songs. I can only think of new songs when I have the opportunity to meet my fans.”
Yoo Byung Jae then shifted the discussion towards marriage and remarked, “I heard Ji Sub is 1000% happy with married life.” He then asked, “Would you recommend marriage?“

Showing love for his wife Jo Eun Jung, he mentioned, “I highly recommend it. Being together is preferable to being alone.” Co-star Jo Han Chul also chimed in, “I recommend it too,” while laughing.
So Ji Sub married Jo Eun Jung, a reporter who is 17 years his junior, in 2020. He is scheduled to appear in the Netflix series The Square, which debuts on June 6.
