The 2025 American Music Awards are scheduled to commence later today, live from Las Vegas, with Jennifer Lopez hosting the event.
Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar leads this year’s AMA nominations with a total of 10: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (GNX), Song of the Year (“Not Like Us”), Collaboration of the Year (“Luther” featuring SZA), Favorite Music Video (“Not Like Us”), Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Hip-Hop Album (GNX), and Favorite Hip-Hop Song (three nominations – “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, “Not Like Us,” and “Luther” with SZA).
He is closely followed by Post Malone with 8 nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each have 7. Taylor Swift has garnered 6 nominations, and Beyoncé has received 3.
How To Watch The 2025 American Music Awards
The 2025 show will broadcast live coast-to-coast from the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas on Monday, May 26 at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on the CBS Television Network, and will also be available for streaming on Paramount + in the U.S.
The event will be livestreamed on Harmony, the proprietary live-streaming platform of Deadline’s parent company Penske Media, as well as on websites including Variety, Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, WWD, Deadline, VIBE, IndieWire, and Gold Derby, among others.
For those wanting a second viewing, the 2025 AMAs will re-air on MTV (Tuesday, May 27 at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT), CMT (Wednesday, May 28 at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT), and BET (Thursday, May 29 at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT).

Created by producer Dick Clark and first awarded in 1974, the AMAs is recognized as the world’s largest fan-voted awards show. This year signifies the return of the AMAs after a two-year hiatus and the October 2024 American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on CBS.
