XXXTentacion’s ?album has reportedly surpassed the 12 billion streams milestone, making it the first rap album to achieve this feat. The late artist released the project in March 2018, just three months prior to his passing at the age of 20. It includes collaborations from PnB Rock, Travis Barker of Blink-182, Joey Badass, Matt Ox, and others.
The track “Sad!” reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100, while the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, earning 131,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The RIAA has since certified the album five times platinum.
The album’s achievement of 12 billion streams coincides with the anticipated release of XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD’s collaboration, “whoa (mind in awe),” scheduled for May 30. The original version of this song was included in X’s posthumous album, SKINS. To celebrate the release, four of X’s most popular tracks will be featured in Fortnite during an upcoming in-game event on May 31, as reported by Complex.

Separately, XXXTentacion welcomed a son with Jenesis Sanchez before his untimely death. In April, six-year-old Gekyume participated in a heartwarming interview with YouTuber Brandon Sloane, where he conveyed a message for his late father. When asked what he would say to X, Gekyume simply said, “That I love him.”
In 2020, Sanchez wrote an emotional open letter to XXXTentacion, reminiscing about their relationship and Gekyume. “I used to wonder what I might have done wrong in a past life to lose you. Now, all I can think about is how we must have done something right to create such a divine being. Gekyume,” she wrote. “He’s growing so fast, it’s astonishing. To think he’s almost two, how swiftly time flies.”
She continued: “He’s developing so quickly, saying words like ‘Mama,’ and ‘Papa’ when he sees your pictures. It’s a bittersweet moment for me each time. He’s so handsome, brimming with personality. Extremely bright, cheerful, and full of energy. I can’t help but chuckle at his little attitude, just like yours eye roll. But deep down, it warms my heart.”
