The 2025 American Music Awards, which honor the previous year’s music, are set to take place on Monday night in Las Vegas.
This ceremony is the largest awards show determined by fan votes, airing live on CBS television stations, and streaming on Paramount+ starting at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who will also perform, the event will feature Janet Jackson, who not only performs but will receive the ICON Award, presented to “an artist whose music has had undeniable cultural and global influence on the music industry,” as stated by the AMAs.
Rod Stewart is also scheduled to perform and will receive a lifetime achievement award during the ceremony.
Here are additional performers confirmed for the event:
List of American Music Awards performersBenson Boone, a first-time AMA nominee, will present his new single from the upcoming album “American Heart.” Gloria Estefan will grace the AMAs stage for the first time in over 30 years. Janet Jackson’s show will mark her first TV performance since 2018. Jennifer Lopez, who has graced the AMAs stage over 10 times, will be hosting for the second time. Reneé Rapp will debut her live award show performance, showcasing a song from her upcoming sophomore album. Blake Shelton will also make his AMAs debut, performing from his album “For Recreational Use Only.” Gwen Stefani is set to perform a medley in celebration of the 20th anniversary of her album “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.” Rod Stewart’s appearance will be his first at the AMAs in over 20 years. Alex Warren is set to make his award show performance debut at the AMAs, as reported by Billboard. Lainey Wilson will perform just ahead of kicking off the U.S. leg of her Whirlwind World Tour.
