Demna has gifted us with another viral sensation at Balenciaga, this time featuring Britney Spears. Coinciding with the house’s Spring 2026 collection, the outgoing creative director has unveiled a collaboration with the pop superstar. Debuting today, the Balenciaga Music | Britney Spears series features a limited selection of ready-to-wear items and accessories, a special playlist curated by Britney Spears, and remixes of her iconic tracks by Balenciaga composer BFRND.
The collection comprises 12 pieces, including T-shirts, zip-up hoodies, and silk twill flags adorned with a Britney Spears autograph print and two archival images of the star by Rankin and Steven Klein. Additionally, there are baseball caps accented with pierced brims, jewels, and studs.
“I have always had a passion for fashion and feel incredibly honored and excited that Balenciaga and Demna chose to partner with me for Demna’s final collection with the House,” Spears stated in the press release. “I hope my fans cherish it as much as I do! These images represent some of my favorite moments from a fantastic time in my career, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
Spears also put together a playlist, which can be streamed on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, showcasing tracks from her personal collection and songs that have inspired her, including “Justify My Love” by Madonna and “Green Light” by Lorde. Furthermore, BFRND’s Britney4ever EP, to be released under Sony Music, will be available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music via BFRND’s artist page. This EP features the official release of his “Gimme More” remix—the soundtrack for the Balenciaga Summer 25 Collection—and a new remix of “Oops!… I Did It Again,” celebrating the song’s 25th anniversary.
Balenciaga’s broader Spring 2026 collection, titled “Exactitudes,” will mark creative director Demna’s final ready-to-wear line for the brand before he transitions to Gucci. He will take his final bow for Balenciaga during their haute couture show in July, and we may witness yet another unforgettable moment following Britney Spears to conclude Demna’s decade of fashion impact.
