Stray From The Path has provided some fans with an early listen to their new full-length album. Vinyl editions of the album, titled “Clockworked“, were spotted for sale at last weekend’s ‘Slam Dunk‘ festival events in the UK, where the band performed. During these performances, two tracks from the album, the previously released “Kubrick Stare“ and the yet-to-be-released “Shot Caller” (check out past live footage below), were included in the setlist.
This highly anticipated release is set to drop this Friday, May 30th, via SharpTone Records, and was produced by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Will Putney (Knocked Loose, Body Count). Based on early product listings and the copies that have surfaced so far, “Clockworked” will feature guest appearances, including Poison The Well frontman Jeffrey Moreira on “Bodies In The Dark” and LANDMVRKS vocalist Florent Salfati on the title track.
In addition to the vinyl copies making their rounds, Stray From The Path seems to have utilized some conventional marketing strategies, as showcased recently by their peers in the Long Island, NY-based band This Is Hell. That promotional material creatively adapts a well-known quote from the late comedian Bill Hicks.
