On May 25, Go Hyun Jung shared a photo on social media with the caption “Organizing,” displaying numerous pens arranged neatly. Behind this carefully organized collection, a tin can pencil holder filled with various pens further reflected her meticulous personality.
Later, she posted a brief video showcasing meticulously sorted medical supplies, with the caption “Huff huff,” indicating that she was fatigued from the task. This clip, featuring an impressive amount of medical tape, surprised viewers and fans.
Go Hyun Jung’s update follows news from last December that raised concerns about her well-being. She had stepped back from a scheduled appearance at the press conference for Genie TV’s original drama ‘Namib’ due to a sudden health issue.
Three weeks later, she communicated directly with fans, saying, “I’m sorry to have worried you. I was seriously ill—enough to surprise myself—but after successfully undergoing major surgery, I’m finally regaining my senses. I’ll be more cautious and take better care of myself moving forward.”
Go Hyun Jung is now preparing for her return to the screen in the upcoming SBS drama ‘The Mantis: Original Sin’, which is set to premiere later this year.
