For instance, the V sign could be seen as a nod to candidate Kim Moon Soo from the People Power Party, positioned as number 2 on the ballot.
After removing the post, Kim Tae Rae clarified the situation by stating, “I was advised against using the V sign because of the season.” However, his follow-up comment garnered admiration.
He added, “I’ll neutralize it with my phone color,” referring to his blue phone — the representative color of Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung, who is number 1 on the ballot. With that single remark, Kim humorously managed to balance both political perspectives, unintentionally achieving perfect neutrality.
