Kyuhyun, a member of the renowned group Super Junior, is experiencing harmful online comments following his recent appearance on the Netflix variety show ‘The Devil’s Plan: Death Room. In response, his agency Antenna has released a strong statement denouncing the negative remarks and outlined plans for decisive legal action.
On June 4th, Antenna stated, “We have recently identified multiple instances where comments have exceeded the boundaries of free speech, significantly damaging our artist Kyuhyun’s personal dignity. Malicious posts that include attempts to disrupt his activities, dissemination of false information, offensive language, and sexual harassment have caused distress not only to the artist but also to his fans’ mental well-being. Armed with evidence from monitoring and reports, we are preparing strong legal measures.”
The agency further asserted, “We will persist in taking legal action against any defamatory acts aimed at our artists moving forward. We are dedicated to safeguarding the rights and interests of our artists.”
Kyuhyun’s involvement in ‘The Devil’s Plan: Death Room’ has generated mixed reactions online. Following the show’s full release, online communities and social media platforms are filled with critical and negative feedback directed not just at Kyuhyun but also at fellow cast members actress Yoon So Hee and influencer Jeong Hyun Gyu.
