The Korean indie band Jannabi has continued the warm glow from their recent solo concert with a generous gesture of support.
After their 2025 solo concert “To All the Boys and Girls,” Jannabi donated all proceeds—48.6 million KRW (around $35,000 USD)—from T-shirt sales to assist children in family caregiving situations.
This donation will help cover educational costs, living expenses, and cultural experiences, ensuring these children’s healthy development.
This act of kindness reflects what fans perceive as the essence of Jannabi—a sincere mix of music, compassion, and community engagement. The band, which recently launched their fourth studio album “Sound of Music pt.1,” consistently advocates the idea that “music is not fantasy, but reality,” a philosophy they embody through various actions. More than just a goodwill gesture, the donation symbolizes a shared commitment between the band and their fans.
Jannabi’s label, Peponi Music, commented:
“Aligned with the concert’s theme, we aimed for all boys and girls to feel supported. We prepared this in collaboration with our fans, hoping to provide even a small measure of strength to children who were once termed ‘head-of-household youth.’”
Jannabi will conclude their national tour with final performances at Daegu EXCO on June 28 and 29. The band also intends to maintain their connection with youth this summer through their hallmark emotional depth and lyrical storytelling.
