In the upcoming episode of ‘You Quiz on the Block,’ Yoo Jae Suk and Kim Sook reflect on their nearly 30-year friendship.
The teaser for episode 296, set to air on Wednesday, June 4, features Kim Sook as a special guest celebrating her 30th anniversary since debut. In this episode, she reunites with her long-time friend Yoo Jae Suk and takes a stroll down memory lane.
A teaser image shared on June 2 shows Yoo Jae Suk in a navy shirt, jeans, and glasses, smiling bashfully while Kim Sook exudes confidence beside him. The picture captures the youthful appeal of his early career, long before he became a beloved national MC.
As revealed in the sneak peek, Kim Sook shared the photo herself and humorously stated, “I basically raised Yoo Jae Suk.“
The duo also reminisced about a humorous anecdote from their twenties. Yoo Jae Suk recounted, “Her nickname was ‘The crazy one.’ A senior once handed her a 100,000 KRW bill and asked her to buy cigarettes. Instead, she bought 100,000 KRW worth of cigarettes. From that moment, everyone said ‘Don’t send Kim Sook on errands,’” causing laughter among those present.
The episode also hints at Kim Sook’s brief hiatus from the entertainment scene as well as her gaming addiction.
