The former agency director of OMEGA X has been referred to the prosecution.
On May 22, the police reported that the Hyehwa Police Station in Seoul forwarded the former director “A” of SPIRE Entertainment—OMEGA X’s previous agency—to the prosecution without detention on May 7.
“A,” who is also the spouse of SPIRE Entertainment’s CEO, faces accusations of forcibly molesting six OMEGA X members on charges of indecent assault through abuse of occupational authority. Earlier in August 2023, “A” was sued by seven of the group’s eleven members. The complaint reportedly claimed that “A” engaged in unwanted physical touch with certain members during overseas tour layovers in 2022 and in the agency’s meeting room in Seoul.
In response to the news, OMEGA X’s current agency, IPQ, issued an official statement, revealing that the allegations of “tampering” brought forth by SPIRE have been formally dismissed.

Since their debut in 2021, OMEGA X has experienced disputes with their former agency, SPIRE Entertainment, since November 2022. Following the court’s approval of the members’ request for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts in January 2023, the group signed with a new agency, IPQ.
