The 2025 American Music Awards, which highlighted the previous year’s best in music, celebrated some of the biggest names in the industry on Monday night in Las Vegas.
The gala, known as the largest fan-voted awards ceremony, was hosted by Jennifer Lopez, who also opened the event with a dance performance. Janet Jackson also delivered a performance prior to receiving the prestigious Icon Award, which acknowledges “an artist whose music has had an undeniable cultural and global impact,” as per the AMAs.
Rod Stewart, who was honored with a lifetime achievement award during the ceremony, also gave a performance.
